Hmong Autism Neurodiverse Disability Support

Role
Research · Concept · Design

HANDS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of autism, disabilities, and other special needs by providing a supportive and inclusive space for Hmong families and communities across Wisconsin.

When Kerry and her sisters, Betsy and Linda, were ready to turn their shared passion into a nonprofit, they asked me to create a logo that would bring their vision to life. The design draws inspiration from the vibrant, intricate embroidery found in traditional Hmong textiles. It represents the cutting of fabric before it is stitched together—each piece unique on its own, yet coming together to form something meaningful and unified.
